Ginna Nuclear Power Plant - Approval of Extension Request for Completion of Corrective Actions in Response to Generic Letter 2004-02 Per a telephone conversation held on December 5, 2007 between Mr. Doug Pickett (NRC) and Brian Weaver (Ginna Licensing Director), R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant understands that no additional extension requests are required regarding a response to Reference (a) for the December tenth deadline specified in Reference (b). Ginna's original extension request, Reference (c), was approved by the NRC on October 4, 2006 (Reference (d)) to enable installation during the spring 2008 Refueling Outage and completion of chemical effects and downstream effects testing.

Ginna holds the basis for the extension and the timeline approved still valid and remains committed to the NRC for the actions listed in Reference (c).
