DOCKETING OF UPDATED PERMITS SUBMITTED TO THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC) STAFF VIA E-MAIL BY PPL SUSQUEHANNA, LLC FOR THE SUSQUEHANNA STEAM ELECTRIC STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 LICENSE RENEWAL ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This Note to File adds several updated permits for Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, to the docket. The enclosed permit documents were sent to Drew Stuyvenberg of the NRC staff by Duane Filchner of PPL Susquehanna, LLC (PPL) on November 30, 2007 (via e-mail), in response to a request made by Mr. Stuyvenberg via e-mail on November 26, 2007.
- Copies of updated permits for Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2 (Enclosure 1).
Mr. Stuyvenberg requested copies of the updated permits in order to produce an up-to-date compliance table in Appendix E of the draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement for License Renewal of Nuclear Plants, Supplement 34, Regarding Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, which will be published in early 2008. As noted by Mr. Filchner, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Waste Management Storage Tank Registration/Permit Certificate 40-10748-019A for a sodium hypochlorite storage tank was not renewed as the permitted tank was physically replaced. The replacement tank is registered under 40-10748-026A.
