BRAIDWOOD STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2, AND BYRON STATION, UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 - CORRECTION OF ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR IN AMENDMENT RE: CONTROL ROOM HABITABILITY (TAC NOS. MD5272, MD5273, MD5270, AND MD5271)
Dear Mr. Pardee:
On October 31, 2007, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued an Amendment No. 145 to Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-72 and NPF-77 for Braidwood Station, Units 1 and 2, and Amendment No. 150 to Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-37 and NPF-66 for Byron Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2. The amendments modify technical specification (TS) requirements related to control room envelope habitability in accordance with TS Task Force (TSTF) Change Traveler TSTF-448, Revision 2, Control Room Habitability.
Subsequent to issuance, the NRC staff noted that an error occurred in the selection of the amendment numbers of the TS pages for the subject plants. The NRC staff has verified the correct amendment number for each unit and has enclosed replacement pages for each unit to correct the errors. This correction of an inadvertent administrative error does not change the NRC staff's conclusion regarding the acceptability of the amendment. The NRC staff regrets any inconvenience the error may have caused you.
