- Tom, Attached are some reference documents for NRR's use in drafting the Davis-Besse DFI on the Exponent Report. Specifically:
- 1. The NRC Enforcement Manual. Look at Section 4.9, Demand for Information, which starts on page 4-72
- 2. Boiler for a DFI from Appendix B of the Enforcement Manual
- 3. An example of a previous DFI signed out by NRR. I've been told there are several examples of previously issued DFIs in ADAMS.
FYI, there is a meeting at 2:00 in the OE conference room, O-14F3, to discuss the DFI.
Once this process gets moving, I can assist NRR by handlling the coordination with OGC and RIII. I will also provide NRR with an Enforcement Action (EA) tracking number which must be included on the DFI and all future correspondence related to the DFI.
