Eliot Brenner/ITY Brian.Sheron 08/20/2007 3:48:51 PM Re: Tomorrow's news tonight -- read and delete 5: DAVIS BESSE -- Dan Horner of Platts interviewed Region III Deputy Regional Administrator Mark Satorius to review the process which led to the issuance this week of a Confirmatory Order to FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating co. Satorius indicated that initial telephone calls led to formal correspondence between the licensee and Region Ill. The next step was a Demand For Information followed by a public meeting.
The Confirmatory Order documents the commitments made by FirstEnergy in responding to the Demand for Information and public meeting.
