Supplement to proposed Technical Amendment submitted September 7, 2007 from the University of Missouri " Rolla Reactor Facility, License R-79, Docket 50-123.
Mr. John Nguyen:
The -University of Missouri -Rolla Reactor (UMRR) Facility is submitting a supplement to the proposed Technical Specification amendment regarding,the Level 1 position submitted September 7, 2007. As per our phone conversation on October 5, 2007 it was requested that UMRR revise Technical Specification 6.1.1 to eliminate the School of Mines and Metallurgy in its structure. As of July 1, 2007 the University of Missouri-Rolla has eliminated all schools and the deans associated with each of the schools.
Technical Specification 6.1.1 is listed as the following:
6.1.1 Structure The Nuclear Reactor Facility is a part of the School of Mines and Metallurgy of the University of Missouri-Rolla. The organizational structure is shown in Figure 6.1.
The UMRR Facility requests to change Technical Specification. 6.1.1 .to the following:
6.1.1 Structure The Nuclear Reactor Facility,.is- a part of the department of Mining and. Nuclearl Engineering of the University- oTMissouri-Rolla. The organizational structure is shown in Figure 6.1.
The University of Missouri - Rolla Radiation Safety Committee has reviewed and approved of this supplement to the proposed Technical Specification amendment regarding the Level 1 position.
The UMRR Facility respectively requests the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to review and approve this supplement to the proposed Technical Specification amendment submitted September 7, 2007 regarding the Level 1 position.
