Dear Mr. Stall:
This refers to the public management meeting conducted at your request at the Region II Office in Atlanta, Georgia on October 24, 2007. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the status of your corrective program improvements on the Turkey Point substantive cross-cutting issue.
Enclosed is a list of attendees and the licensees handout.
The discussions focused on the following topics: Corrective Action Program, Safety Conscious Work Environment Survey, Site Culture Survey, Improve Plan, and Road to Excellence. The meeting was informative and did not result in any specific regulatory decisions. However, the NRC will perform a focused Problem Identification Program (PI&R) inspection in December 2007, to evaluate your effectiveness of corrective action program improvement initiatives at Turkey Point.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
