DAILY STAFF NOTES REGION I August 22, 2007 On August 21, the members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 300, voted to reject the proposed contract with Vermont Yankee (Entergy). The union has agreed to provide Entergy with a 72-hour notice prior to any job action. The contract covers Operations, Maintenance and Radiation Protection personnel. Region I is prepared to implement a 24-hour NRC watchbill if a strike occurs.
