REPLY TO NOTICE OF VIOLATION
Dear Mr. Levis:
The purpose of this letter is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated September 13, 2007, that responded to the Notice of Violation issued on August 14, 2007, regarding your failure to apply for a relief request for the inservice inspection (ISI) program. In your letter you documented the corrective actions you completed to restore compliance with the regulations and to ensure similar violations did not occur. You also responded to additional questions from the NRC regarding the continued operability of systems impacted by the violation and the effect of the incomplete inspections on the current ISI interval.
Thank you for responding to our questions and informing us of your corrective actions for this matter. Your actions in addressing these issues are subject to future NRC inspection activities.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice, a copy of this letter and your response dated September 13, 2007, will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the NRCs document system (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc. gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
