Dear Mr. Balduzzi:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has officially transferred project management responsibility for the Big Rock Point Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI). Transfer of project management responsibility from James Shepherd, Division of Waste Management and Environmental Protection, Office of Federal and State Materials Environmental and Management Programs, to me, James R. Hall, Division of Spent Fuel Storage and Transportation, Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards, was effective on June 14, 2007. This transfer was made in recognition of your completion of decommissioning activities at the Big Rock Point site, with the exception of the continuing ISFSI-related operations.
