UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA TRAINING REACTOR REQUALIFICATION TRAINING PROGRAM (TAC NO. MD5780)
Dear Dr. Vernetson:
The staff of the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has reviewed and evaluated the University of Florida Training Reactor Requalification Training Program that was submitted on June 1, 2007. The program was reviewed against the criteria in 10 CFR 50.54 (i-1) and 10 CFR Part 55.
Based on its review, the staff concludes that the University of Florida Training Reactor Requalification Training Program meets the requirements of the regulations and is, therefore, acceptable. We request that you begin to implement your approved program immediately.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room. If you have any questions, please contact me at (301) 415-1127.
