OF ANNUAL PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT MEETING FOR DIABLO CANYON POWER PLANT

Dear Mr. Keenan:

This refers to the public meeting conducted at the Embassy Suites Hotel in San Luis Obispo, California, on June 26, 2007, to discuss the safety performance at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant between January 1 and December 31, 2006.

Topics discussed during the meeting included the Reactor Oversight Process and the safety performance at Diablo Canyon Power Plant. Members of the public present at the meeting were allowed to ask questions and comments on the proceedings.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, its enclosure, and your response (if any) will be made available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
