On June 18, 2007, the New England Coalition (NEC) filed a motion to extend the time for NEC to file its answer to the motion for summary disposition of NEC Contention 4 filed by Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (collectively Entergy). Under 10 C.F.R. § 2.323(c), answers to NECs motion to extend time would normally be due ten days later, i.e., on June 28, 2007. By that date, however, the motion to extend time would be moot, because the deadline against which the extension is sought expires on June 25, 2007. Under these circumstances, the Board rules that any answers to NECs motion for
