ENTERGY NUCLEAR GENERATION COMPANY AND ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC.

(Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station)

Docket No. 50-293-LR ASLBP No. 06-848-02-LR June 5, 2007 ORDER (Granting Request for Extension)

On May 30, 2007, the Licensing Board issued an order granting Intervenor Pilgrim Watchs request for an extension of time to reply to a motion for summary disposition filed May 17, 2007, by Entergy Nuclear Generation Company and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc.

(Entergy or Applicant), the Applicant in this proceeding to renew the operating license for Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station.1 Later that same day, the NRC Staff, which filed no response to Pilgrim Watchs request, requested through its counsel a like extension.2 Neither Entergy, who strongly opposed the request of Pilgrim Watch,3 nor Pilgrim Watch,4 oppose the Staffs 5May 30, 2007, Order at 3; Staff Request at 2.

6Copies of this Order were sent this date by Internet e-mail to all counsel or representatives for participants.

request for an extension to June 29, 2007, to file its own response to Entergys motion for summary disposition.

As we observed in our Order granting Pilgrim Watchs request, and as noted by Staff, allowing for a response in accordance with the original response deadline does not create any delay in the already-established schedule for this proceeding.5 We therefore also GRANT the Staffs request for an extension of time to June 29, 2007, to file its response to Entergys Motion for Summary Disposition.

It is so ORDERED.
