Hello All, The best available option for the next IP fish sampling conf call is tomorrow, Wed. Feb 21st, from 9:00 to 10:00.
Anticipated participants include the NRC (Kottan, Noggle, and White), Entergy (Hinrichs, Adler... ), DEC (Skinner, Rice,...), DOH (Horn and Snyder).
Unfortunately, there are no days this week when all participants from our last fish sampling call are available.
However this date & time should ensure that we have participation from all involved organizations.
The goals are to:
- finalize a list of species to be sampled.
- confirm the supplemental upstream sampling location (near Catskill, NY)
- agree on sample homogenization and splitting protocol that will be followed,
- discuss holding a call with the involved labs to review and reach consensus of sample prep and analysis protocols. This would be similar to the call that was held regarding groundwater analyses to minimize to the extent practical the variability between the three lab results. And,
- any other details that may need to be discussed.
