- Gary, I heard from DOH that they have received the CSS water split sample. Unfortunately the sample was only 1 liter.
We may not be able to do all of the usual rad split sample analytes with this amount.
We had standardized on a 1 gallon split for all groundwaters.
Given the reported flow rate of /2 gallon per minute there appears to be plenty of water for the usual volumes.
Do you know why was this sample was so small?
Additionally, our RCRA program would like to do a split for PCB's at this location.
Can we arrange for a new split with adequate water for the radionuclides, and a separate aliquot for PCB's?
DOH will do the PCB's for us and they have a standard sample container they would like used.
Once we agree on this I can let them know to send it to the site.
