Under a Scheduling Order issued in this proceeding on December 20, 2006, there was to have been a site visit during the week of May 7 or 14, 2007. At this point the Board considers that it would be a more productive use of the time of all concerned to hold the site visit in conjunction with another activity associated with this proceeding, including, for example, oral argument on any contentions that may yet be filed in response to the final SEIS or SER, or limited appearance statements, on a date closer to the evidentiary hearing. The Board will welcome suggestions in this regard, but, unless good cause is shown to hold a site visit during the previously announced May dates, will not set any visit for that time period.
