Project Directorate I Division of Licensing Project Management Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation APPROVAL OF LICENSE TRANSFER FOR VERMONT YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION The purpose of this memorandum is to inform you that an Order will be issued to Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation, Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC (Entergy Nuclear VY), and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO), approving the direct transfer of the operating license held by Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation for Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station, to Entergy Nuclear VY and ENO. The license transfer request, dated October 5, 2001, as supplemented on November 7 and 8, 2001, and January 23 and April 30, 2002, has been reviewed by NRR technical staff and OGC. Issuance of the Order is expected on or about cc:
