SUBJECT:

MILLSTONE POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 2 CORRECTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 228, IMPLEMENTATION OF A REVISED STEAMLINE BREAK ANALYSIS AND REVISED RADIOLOGICAL CONSEQUENCES (TAC NO. MA3410 AND MA3672)

Dear Mr. Christian:

On March 10, 1999, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff issued Amendment No. 228 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-65. During the NRC staffs review of Millstone Power Station, Unit No. 2 License Amendment Request, submitted by letter dated June 13, 2006, a typographical error was identified in the Safety Evaluation. The error is in Table 1, Accident Analysis Parameters Used by NRC staff, Common to LOCA

[Loss-of-Coolant Accident] and MSLB [Main Streamline Break], page one, Control Room chart, row three, column four (second Elevated column). The table currently states that the value is 1.96E-4, while the correct value (as used by the NRC staff in its review) is 1.96E-5.

We apologize if this error has caused you any inconvenience.

Sincerely,

/ra/
