Dear Mr. Marion,
I want to express my appreciation for the outstanding support you have provided as a panelist, Fire Protection: Successes and Challenges with Improved Industry Performance, which helped make the 2007 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Regulatory Information Conference (RIC) a tremendous success. Your presentation on the Musings on Fire Protection was excellent and informed the audience.
The RIC is a dynamic forum for national and international stakeholders to interact and discuss a wide range of issues important to nuclear safety. It provides NRC management, regulated utilities, and other important stakeholders an opportunity to meet and communicate regarding safety initiatives and regulatory trends. There were approximately 2,200 people in attendance at this years conference.
Again, thanks so much for your enthusiastic participation in the RIC. Your participation made it successful.
