March 28, 2007 Mr. Rick A. Muench President and Chief Executive Officer Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation Post Office Box 411 Burlington, KS 66839

SUBJECT:

WOLF CREEK GENERATING STATION - CORRECTION TO ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGE TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE COMMISSION ORDER EA-06-037 AND REVISIONS TO PHYSICAL SECURITY, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATION PLAN, AND SAFEGUARDS CONTINGENCY PLAN (TAC NO. MD2295)

Dear Mr. Muench:

In our letter to you dated February 13, 2007, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a revised Page 6 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-42 for the Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS). The revised page incorporated in the license the reference to the revised WCGS Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan that implemented NRC Order EA-6-037.

Inadvertently, the NRC staff issued an out-of-date Page 6 of the license and stated the incorrect date of the licensees letter submitting the revised plans. Enclosed is a corrected Page 6 of the license with the reference to the licensees letter dated May 17, 2006, that submitted the revised WCGS Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, and Safeguards Contingency Plan to implement NRC Order EA-6-037.

Please replace Page 6 of the WCGS Facility Operating License No. NPF-42 with the enclosed page.

Sincerely,

/RA/

Jack Donohew, Senior Project Manager Plant Licensing Branch IV Division of Operating Reactor Licensing Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation Docket No. 50-482
