Outage Call for Steam Generator inspection As you are aware, NRR/CSGB participates in conference calls with licensees to discuss their SG tube inspection activities. CSGB would like to participate in a conference call with the licensee for ANO-1 during their upcoming outage.
The process is outlined in the attached memos, (Memo to DLPM RE SG Phone Calls and Insp Rpts.wpd and TACs for SG Conference Calls -2002 Update) and includes:
- 1) Notifying the licensee of our intent of a phone discussion. If they agree to participate, a letter listing the topics of discussion is sent to the licensee (a boilerplate letter has been included in the memorandum). Questions that CSGB would like to address during the phone call have also been formulated (Questions for SG Phone Calls.wpd). The questions should be sent to the licensee with the letter.
- 2) Opening a plant specific TAC based on the outgoing letter, under the category of other licensing tasks.
- 3) Conducting the call when roughly 70% of the inspection results have been analyzed.
- 4) CSGB sending a call summary to the PM.
- 5) PM dockets the summary and any material the licensee supplied to support the call.
