Comment regarding Massachusetts Attorney General's Petition for Rulemaking to Amend 10 CFR Part I support the Massachusetts Attorney General's petition to the NRC to include the significant environmental impacts of high-density spent fuel pools at nuclear reactors as part of the relicensing process.
Living about 6 miles from Vermont Yankee, I am concerned about the plant's spent fuel being vulnerable to earthquake, criminal or terrorist attack, or leakage that could result in a release of radiation.
