This letter confirms the discussion between members of our staffs to meet at 3:00 p.m. (EDT) on Wednesday, March 21, 2007. The meeting will be held at the Renaissance Quail Hollow Resort, located at 11080 Concord-Hambden Road in Painesville, Ohio.
The purpose of the meeting is to present FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company with the results of our annual assessment of Perry performance, and to discuss our decision regarding the placement of Perry in the NRCs Action Matrix. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have an opportunity to speak with the NRC after the business portion of the meeting, but before the meeting is adjourned.
