FirstEnergy announced management changes effective March 1, 2007
Subject:
On February 13, 2007, FirstEnergy announced several management changes effective March 1, 2007.
Gary R. Leidich, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) President and Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO),
has been promoted to FirstEnergy Senior Vice President of Operations.
Joseph J. Hagan, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for FENOC, has been promoted to FENOC President and CNO.
James H. Lash, Site Vice President at the Beaver Valley Power Station, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations (FENOC). Mr. Lash will report to Mr. Hagan and will also retain the Site Vice President Position at Beaver Valley.
Barry S. Allen, Director of Site Operations at the Perry Nuclear Station, will be promoted to Site Vice President at Perry following the retirement of Lamar W. "Bill" Pearce this spring. Mr. Allen will report to Mr. Lash.
