COOPER NUCLEAR STATION - NRC INITIAL OPERATOR LICENSING EXAMINATION APPROVAL (05000298/2007-301)

Dear Mr. Edington:

The purpose of this letter is to confirm the final arrangements for the upcoming operator licensing examinations at Cooper Nuclear Station.

The NRC has completed its review of the operator license application submitted in connection with this examination and separately provided a the name of the approved applicants to David Tune, Operations Training Superintendent. Note that any examination waivers and application denials have been addressed in separate correspondence.

The NRC has approved the subject examination and will administer the operating tests during the week of January 29, 2007.
