On January 18, 2007, Exelon announced that Russ Kearney, Nuclear Oversight Director at Cantera, will replace Mike McDowell as Plant Manager at Clinton Power Station. According to a press release generated by Exelon, Mr. Kearney has more than 20 years of progressive nuclear experience in Operations, Maintenance, Work Control and Training.
Mr. McDowell will be on loan to the South African utility Eskom at the Koeberg Nuclear Plant. He will have a senior leadership role at Koeberg.
