Docket No. PRM-51 -11 To The NRC, As a citizen that lives near the nuclear power plant (Pilgrim-Entergy, MA) and on behalf of all others in this nation that live near our 103 power plants, I am very concerned about the release either intended or unintended that leads to evidence of increased cancer and leukemia rates.
In particular I would like you to consider the BEIR VII report and it's ramifications on the public health. I do not believe that the "allowable" levels are in anyway "safe". I believe that the public living near nuclear power plants or anywhere else for that matter should not have to be exposed to any radiation. I believe we have the right to clean air and water.
Please consider this appeal when considering any re-license of Nuclear Plants and the general day to day operation of any said plants.
