PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
CORROSIVE. CAUSES EYE AND SKIN DAMAGE. Harmful if swallowed. Do not get into eyes, on skin or on clothing. Do not inhale vapor or mist. Use with adequate ventilation. Wear rubber gloves, goggles or face shield when handling. Wear a respirator when exposure to a vapor, mist or dust exceeds safe limits.
Immediately remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Wash thoroughly after handling.
FIRST AID: In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. Immediately contact physician.
In case of contact with eyes, flush promptly and thoroughly with clear water for at least 15 minutes. Immediately contact physician.
In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting. Contact a poison control centre or physician IMMEDIATELY.
Take container, label or product name and Pest Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.
TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Consult physician for any additional measures which may be required.
ECOLOGICAL: This pesticide is toxic to fish and wildlife. Do not discharge into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans or public waters. Do not contaminate water by cleaning of container and equipment or disposal of wastes. Apply this product only as specified on this label.
DISPOSAL :
- 1.
Triple-or pressure-rinse the empty container. Add the rinsings to the treatment site.
- 2.
Follow provincial instruction for any required additional cleaning of the container prior to its disposal.
- 3.
Make the empty container unsuitable for further use.
- 4.
Dispose of the container in accordance with provincial requirements.
- 5.
For information on disposal of unused, unwanted product contact the manufacturer or the provincial regulatory agency. Contact the manufacturer and the provincial regulatory agency in case of a spill, and for clean-up of spills.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE RECIRCULATING COOLING WATER SYSTEMS This product aids in the control of mollusca and of bacterial, fungal and algal slime in evaporative condensers, heat exchange water systems, commercial and industrial cooling towers, influent systems such as flow through filters and lagoons, industrial water scrubbing systems and brewery pasteurizers. Not for use in potable water systems.
This product may be added to the system either continuously or intermittently or as needed. The frequency of feeding and duration of the treatment will depend on the severity of the problem.
BADLY FOULED SYSTEMS must be cleaned before treatment is begun.
FOR THE CONTROL OF MOLLUSCA, BACTERIA, FUNGI AND ALGAE INTERMITTENT OR SLUG METHOD INITIAL DOSE: When the system is noticeably fouled, add this product at the rate of 30 to 240 ppm to the water in the system.
Repeat until control is achieved.
SUBSEQUENT DOSE: When control is evident, add this product at the rate of 18 to 180 ppm to the water in the system every 3 days or as needed to maintain control.
CONTINOUS FEED METHOD INITIAL DOSE: When the system is noticeably fouled add this product at the rate of 36 to 240 ppm to the water in the system.
SUBSEQUENT DOSE: Continuously feed this product to maintain a dosage of 6 to 60 ppm in the system.
