MILLSTONE POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 1 - PARTIAL EXEMPTION FROM RECORD KEEPING REQUIREMENTS (TAC NO. J00287)
Dear Mr. Christian:
The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission has granted the enclosed partial exemption from the record keeping Requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.59(d)(3), 10 CFR 50.71(c); 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix A Criterion 1; and 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix B Criterion XVII, as requested in your letter dated June 8, 2006. The requested exemption and application of the exemption will eliminate the requirement to maintain records that are no longer necessary due to the permanently shutdown status of the facility.
A copy of this exemption is enclosed and has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication. If you have any questions concerning this evaluation, please contact John Hickman at (301) 415-3017.
