NOTIFICATION OF REVISION TO THE MONTHLY OPERATING REPORT NET MAXIMUM DEPENDABLE POWER TVA is submitting this notification of a revision to the BFN Monthly Operating Report - Net Maximum Dependable Power. The revision data will be provided to INPO for distribution to NRC in the next calendar quarter (October - December 2006).
TVA performed a calculation for the revised Capacity Ratings.
The result of this calculation identified that the new NRC values listed below are in accordance with Regulatory Guide 1.16, Appendix C instructions.
UNIT 2 UNIT 3 Net Maximum Dependable Capacity 1104 MWe 1105 MWe Regulatory Guide 1.16, Appendix C defines Net Maximum Dependable Capacity as the gross electrical output as measured at the output terminals of the turbine-generator during the most restrictive seasonal conditions less the normal station service load. Based on the NRC definition, TVAs current values were derived by taking the average net megawatts available for the most restrictive season which is the 2006 summer quarter (July - September 2006).
