SAFETY EVALUATION BY THE OFFICE OF NUCLEAR REACTOR REGULATION DIRECT TRANSFER OF LICENSES FROM CONSUMERS ENERGY COMPANY TO ENTERGY NUCLEAR PALISADES, LLC & ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC.

Attached are the Safety Evaluation for the proposed transfer of control of the operating licenses currently held by Consumers Energy Company, as owner, and Nuclear Management Company, LLC, as operator, to Entergy Nuclear Palisades, LLC as proposed new owner, and Entergy Nuclear Operations, as proposed new operator. The proposed direct transfer involves Palisades Nuclear Plant, Big Rock Point Facility, and the Big Rock Point ISFSI. Because the Palisades Nuclear Plant Safety Evaluation contains sensitive financial data, it is being issued in proprietary and non-proprietary versions. There is a separate Safety Evaluation for Big Rock Facility and ISFSI. All work was conducted under TAC Number MD2954.
