ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RECEIPT OF PERRY REQUEST FOR CLOSURE OF CONFIRMATORY ACTION LETTER COMMITMENTS
Dear Mr. Pearce:
This acknowledges receipt of your letter dated December 20, 2006, requesting closure of the thirteen Perry Nuclear Power Plant Confirmatory Action Letter Commitments (CAL). The NRC is currently reviewing your basis for closure as provided in the attachment to the subject letter.
Upon completion of our review, you will be advised by separate correspondence of the review results and NRC determination for closure of the CAL.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS),
accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
