Dear Mr. Stall:
In your recent letter on the above-referenced subject, you requested an extension to the February 10, 2007, deadline to respond to our request for information at each of the subject plants regarding the Phase 2 and 3 independent assessments, the draft Mitigation Strategies Table, and a proposed license condition for your plants.
The NRC has determined that your requested extension will not adversely affect our schedule for evaluating the information received from all licensees. Accordingly, your request is granted.
Please be aware that providing additional time for you to prepare your response should not be construed as providing corresponding time for implementation of mitigating strategies.
