SUBJECT:

DROP-IN VISIT FROM ENTERGY (PILGRIM)

On December 6, 2006, Samuel Collins, Marc Dapas, David Lew, A. Randall Blough, Tracy Walker, Nicole Sieller, and Garrett Newman met with Constellation's Mike Balduzzi (Site Vice President), Kevin Bronson (General Manager), Steve Bethay (Director of Nuclear Safety Assessments), and Bryan Ford (Licensing Manager). The purpose of this visit was to discuss Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station performance and initiatives.

During the meeting, the following topics were discussed:

1. Plant performance overview

2. Results of recent INPO evaluation

3. Equipment reliability

4. Maintenance backlogs

5. Radiation exposure

6. Human performance

7. Staffing issues (security transition, SRO/RO retention and pipeline)

8. License renewal

9. Refueling outage major projects The visit began at 10:00 a.m. and ended at 1:00 p.m. No regulatory decisions were requested or made. A meeting handout was provided by Entergy and is enclosed with this memorandum.
