Management Change at the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station

On December 11, 2006, FirstEnergy announced that Pete Sena will be promoted to Director of Site Operations at the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station. Mr. Sena will be replacing Rick Mende, who has been named the Director of the Bruce Mansfield Plant, FirstEnergys largest coal-fired facility. These changes will take effect on January 1, 2007.
Mr. Sena was Beaver Valleys Director of Site Engineering and has held other positions at the plant, including Operations Manager and Control Room Shift Manager. He is a licensed Senior Reactor Operator at Beaver Valley.
Mr. Sena also previously worked for the NRC, serving as the NRC Resident Inspector at Beaver Valley.
