Dear Mr. Marion:
By letter dated May 3, 2006, we issued our proposed License Renewal Interim Staff Guidance, LR-ISG-2006-01, for public comments. By letter dated June 7, 2006, NEI submitted its comments and requested the staff to provide clarifications to the proposed LR-ISG in order to eliminate any confusion with its potential implementation. The staff reviewed NEIs comments and, where applicable, incorporated these comments in its final LR-ISG. is our Final LR-ISG-2006-01 and Enclosure 2 is our responses to NEIs comments.
