Dear Mr. Stall:
This refers to the management meeting conducted at your request at the Region II Office in Atlanta, Georgia on October 26, 2006. The purpose of the meeting was to brief the NRC on actions Florida Power and Light Company has taken regarding substantive cross-cutting issues at Turkey Point Nuclear Plant. Enclosed is a list of attendees and the licensees handout.
The discussions focused on the following topics: Overview, Corrective Action Program Initiatives, Corrective Action Program Gaps, Corrective Action Program Actions, and Human Performance Root Cause. The meeting was informative and did not result in any specific regulatory decisions.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
