REVIEW OF DECOMMISSIONING FUNDING FOR MIT RESEARCH REACTOR; LICENSE No. R-37, DOCKET No. 50-20 The Financial, Policy and Rulemaking Branch has finished its review of the July 5, 2006 letter, and other supporting documents, from MIT Nuclear Reactor Laboratory, requesting NRC approval to increase the decommissioning funding for its research reactor to $23,000,000.
The enclosed letter from Michael Dusaniwskyj approves this request, and may be sent to the licensee. This completes our review under TAC # MD3033.
