TN0026450 - ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FUND ANNUAL MAINTENANCE FEE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-2007 Enclosed is a check in the amount of $6250.00 covering the Environmental Protection Fund Annual Maintenance Fee for FY 2006-2007 - NPDES Permit No. TN0026450 for TVA Sequoyah Nuclear Plant (invoice number WMF032609). Sequoyah did not receive the first invoice; therefore we do not feel it necessary to pay the penalty and interest of $372.43. Also, the contact information was incorrect on the second notice; the contact information needs to be changed to the following:

Dear Diedre Nida:
Please be advised that our records currently indicate that you have not responded to the original invoice on the above permit for payment of your annual maintenance fee for Fiscal Year 2006-2007, which was originally due on 08/25/06 as required under Chapter 1200-4-11, Environmental Protection Fund Fees.
You are now in violation of T.C.A. 68-203-103, Section 3, which states:
(e)(1) If any part of any fee imposed under this chapter is not paid within fifteen (15) days of the due date, a penalty of five percent (5%) of the amount due shall at once accrue and be added thereto.
Thereafter, on the first day of each month during which any part of any fee or any prior accrued penalty remain unpaid, an additional penalty of five percent (5%) of the then unpaid balance shall accrue and be added thereto. In addition, the fees not paid within fifteen (15) days after the due date shallbear interest at the maximum lawful rate from the due date to the date paid.
You now owe $6,622.43. This includes the penalty of $312.50 and the interest $59.93 of due on the original fee balance of $6,250.00. If your payment is not postmarked by September 30, 2006 additional penalty and interest will accrue.
