Salem Generating Station Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-272 and 50-311 License Change Request S05-12 Request for Change to Technical Specifications Relocation of Movable Incore Detectors and Radioactive Gaseous Effluent Oxygen Monitoring Instrumentation PSEG Nuclear LLC submitted the proposed change to the Salem Technical Specifications by letter to the NRC dated June 30,2006. The proposed amendment would relocate the requirements for "Movable Incore Detectors" and "Radioactive Gaseous Effluent Oxygen Monitoring Instrumentation" from the technical specifications to Updated Final Safety Analysis Report. These changes are consistent with guidance in NRC Generic Letter 95-10, "Relocation of Selected Technical Specification Requirements Related to Instrumentation".
These changes are also consistent with NUREG-1431, "Standard Technical Specifications, Westinghouse Plants".
