Status of the Federally listed Pitcher's Thistle (Cirsium pitcheri) on the Palisades Nuclear Plant Site Bo Pham Project Manager Division of License Renewal U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission In regards to Supplement 27, Generic Environmental Impact Statement for License Renewal of Nuclear Plants, reference "Dawson, G. 2005. Status of the Federally Listed Pitcher's Thistle (Dirsium Straminea) on the Palisades Nuclear Site. Consumers Energy Company, Jackson, Michigan (July 2005)". This 2005 document cites the location of the Pitcher's Thistle on the Palisades Nuclear Plant site. Nuclear Management Company(NMC) provided this document to Nuclear Regulatory Commission as confidential in order to prevent damage, destruction or taking of this rare plant specie.
