Change in Site Vice President at Braidwood Station
Subject:
Mr. Tom Coutu has been named Site Vice President at Braidwood Generating Station. Mr. Coutu is replacing Keith Polson who has decided to leave the organization to pursue other interests. Mr. Coutu has 28 years of experience within the commercial nuclear power industry. He joined Exelon Nuclear in 2005 as the Vice President for Exelon Nuclear's Midwest Operations in which he was responsible for corporate support to the Braidwood, Byron, Clinton, Dresden, LaSalle, Quad Cities, and Zion Nuclear Stations. Prior to joining the organization, Mr. Coutu was the Site Vice President at Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant, where he had also served as the Plant Manager and Operations Manager. He spent 24 years of his career at Duke Power Company's Oconee Nuclear Station, where he was a Licensed Senior Reactor Operator on each of the three units.
Mr. Coutu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marine engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Clemson University.
