- Kymn, Check out www.ecpf.orq The forum is utility-sponsored. Was started as a grass roots effort around 10 years ago by a collection of reactor utility ECP managers (there were obviously less of them around at that time). Has grown considerably since that time. Now involves other organizations/agencies who have similar functions.
Have historically had two "full" forum meetings a year, but more recently have scaled down one of the meetings to what they refer to as a "working" meeting. The NRC Regional Allegation Coordinators were going to both meetings when they all were considered "full" forums, but have most recently been pared down to going to the one "full" meeting each year. So, I will not be at the September meeting in Indianapolis. But Lisa Jarriel will be there. As far as I know, no one is excluded from going to either type of meeting, i.e., I don't think they restrict the "working" meetings to specified forum members.
Dave Lochbaum has been to some, so you can get some of the flavor of the meetings from him. I find them to be worthwhile because they encourage a casual atmosphere and candid discussion. You also get to see the faces and shake hands with many of the people that you only know by a phone voice.
The primary contacts for ECPF are Peter Rail (Arizona Power) and Al Capristo (NMC).
Upcoming NRC conferences and symposia can be found here:
http://www.nrc.qovlpublic-involve/conferences.html The most widely attended NRC conference is the annual Regulatory Information Conference (the "RIC").
The 2005 RIC is in early March 2005. The agenda is broad, but there is ususlly some discussion re:
Safety Culture, SCWE....

- Dave, Can you please tell me how to get info regarding the Employee Concerns Forum that is coming up in Indianapolis?
Is it sponsored by the NRC? I know very little about it (obviously).
Also what NRC conferences are coming up in Washington that you think would interest me? I cannot seem to find any on the website.
Thanks much, Kymn Information in this record was deleted in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, e FOIA- !!ýM
