- Randy, I appreciate you taking the time to meet with me yesterday. It was helpful to hear your perspective, decision-making process, and sensitivity to the issues we discussed. I left knowing that, while we disagree on some things, we are not at odds on the importance of the issues at Salem/Hope Creek being put on the table and resolved.
I do want to stress this point that you and I discussed: There will be no resolution of the issues unless they are put on the table.
Nondisclosure-whether from denial, cover-up, or ignorance-negates resolution.
simply, No problem can be fixed until it is faced. Progress cannot be made without full disclosure and accepting responsibility. PSEG, as we discussed, has so far avoided both. We are counting on the NRC to be sure this does not continue.
I remain available for any further dialogue.
