- Scott, Please don't read into too much. I have to give hilrr-- the benefit of the doubt. He really tried to send a strong message for safety conscious work environment. One element can be feedback as we described in the letter. That lack of feedback can lead to perceptions that may actally be Incorrect In regard to safety. I was ust trying to be as critical as I could and I thin overall sent a good message. Overa were very serious and were In total agreement with the regulatory action In their presentation.

Dan Orr's summary of today's site-wide meeting at Salem and Hope Creek is summarized in the attached file. Dan believes that PSEG management addressed the NRC letter In a generally appropriate manner.
Separately, he indicated that he sensed today's press release would have a similar tone (but we'll see how good his senses are when it's issued; no gurarantees).
