'"Case Results The fact that the NRC did not substantiate the discrimination case in no way diminishes the importance of the valuable information the individual brought to the NRC regarding the work environment at Salem and Hope Creek. The NRC also appreciated the individual's willingness to provide information about the work environment at Salem and Hope Creek.
The NRC's investigations were thorough and objective, both in the SCWE review and in the investigation of The NRC considered a large amount of information, including what the individual brought to the attention of the NRC.
In both cases, the NRC concluded that there was insufficient evidence to prove violations of employee protection rights or ccurred.
The NRC's Office of Investigations determined that the employment action taken against the individual was not the result of raising safety concerns. The preponderance of evidence indicated that the action was taken for legitimate business reasons.
