Note regarding Agenda -*Region IV SERP/Enforcement Panels, Oct. 21, 2004 With regard to Case 2, involving Cooper Nuclear Station and service water gland seal water, the region plans to provide, at the time of the panel, a verbal briefing on the status of the case and the likely outcome of the ongoing evaluation of the significance.

Case 1 - 12:30 Central /1:30 Eastern Case 2 - 1:15 Central / 2:15 Eastern Cooper Nuclear Station, EA-04-131, service water pump gland seal Issue This is a post-regulatory conference SERP to discuss a final significance determination for a performance
deficiency associated with the service water system. The regulatory conference was held on Sept. 27th, and the licensee has submitted responses to additional questions posed at the regulatory conference.
The region plans to provide a recommended position prior to the SERP. Kriss Kennedy has copies of the files e-mailed by the licensee and will provide those in a separate e-mail.
