Dear Administrative Judges:
During the prehearing conference, we alerted the Board that, as a result of discussions with the NRC staff, it was possible that additional buried piping might be included in the aging management review for Pilgrim's license renewal. However, after further discussions between Entergy and the NRC Staff, it has been determined that the additional buried piping is not within the scope of review established by 10 C.F.R. 54.4. Thus, no additional buried pipes or tanks have been added to Pilgrim's aging management review for license renewal beyond those currently set forth in the Application, which are identified in note 6 to Entergy's Answer to Pilgrim Watch's Petition.
