MILLSTONE POWER STATION UNIT 3 CANCELLATION OF LICENSEE EVENT REPORT 2004-003-00 On January 3, 2005, Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc., (DNC) submitted Licensee Event Report (LER) MP3-2004-003 pursuant to 10 CFR 50.73(a)(2)(i)(B) and 10 CFR 50.73(a)(2)(v)(B). This LER documented two conditions at Millstone Power Station Unit 3 (MPS 3), in which the High Pressure Safety Injection (HPSI) system, a component of the Emergency Core Cooling system (ECCS) subsystem listed in MPS 3 Technical Specification 3.5.2, previously evaluated as operable, may have been inoperable.
Subsequent to the submittal of the LER, a technical evaluation was completed that concluded that while the HPSI system was degraded, the ECCS subsystem remained operable in the as found condition. Therefore, DNC is formally withdrawing LER MP3-2004-003.
